Description

This t-shirt is from L.A. rock vocalist, DAVID LEE ROTH. The shirt was from 1988 and his Skyscraper tour featuring heavy metal guitarist, Steve Vai. It was very much in the style of early Van Halen recordings and featured Just Like Paradise. During the arena performances, Roth would appear on a surfboard above the audience.
This is a beautiful, silk-screened, vintage, licensed, concert tour, 100% cotton, Large, Signal t-shirt. This original design was licensed to Giant Merchandising by Diamond Dave Merchandising. This is a rare shirt in any condition, but to be found unworn is nearly impossible. You certainly won't find it anywhere else currently on eBay. The artwork and coloration on this shirt is absolutely gorgeous...no cracking, no fading, no stains, no holes, just perfect!! This is not one of the many digital photo bootlegs that you see on eBay from Indonesia, China and Bulgaria. Always look for the trademark on a shirt. If it doesn't have one then it probably isn't an original. If you are stupid enough to buy one of the digital bootlegs, then you deserve the poor quality that you'll get. Gildan wasn't even in business in the 80's (it was Anvil).
Pit to pit 19.5" Neck to hem 24" Collar to hem 27.5" Although the label says "large", the measurements are more like a big medium.
This is from a huge collection of vintage, licensed t-shirts from a closed record store, that have been in storage for over 25 years. They have never been worn or washed but may be a little dusty. I just went to my storage and brought back several hundred that I will post as quickly as I can.
T
here are no returns on shirts. I will not sell shirts to Indonesia or Bulgaria. There is no dry rot in this shirt.
